Maviah is an outcast once again. For two years, she has wandered the desert, trying to unite her people who have been defeated and scattered in the wake of a devastating attack by their enemies.
Maviah wants to bring peace, following the path she learned from a man named Yeshua who many are calling the son of God. Now she stands on the outskirts of the city of Dumah that she once called home, where both her father and the man she loves are being held hostage.
Surrounded by a few tribal leaders and far more orphaned children than warriors, she hopes to come to terms of peace and gain relief for her people.
Instead, she finds more betrayal and loss. To save those she loves, she must return to Palestine to find Yeshua. Surely he will show her the fullness of His way once again.
But she is not prepared for the fact that this time His way will cost His life.
